ROAD TRIP >>>> Beach Party in Maine
by bigkid
March 7th was a beautiful day for a beach party. Sunny day, Air temperature 59, water temperature 38.
Luke and Maggie were already at Sandy Point Beach
when Ziva and Gus got there.
Time to PARTY!
Luke found a stick.
Maggie was searching for wet rocks.
She seems to be very fussy about her rocks and keeps looking.
Ziva and Gus decide to race.
Gus is a lot faster than Ziva but she still gives it her all.
Ziva is amazed when Gus tells her that he can actually FLY!
Gus puts on a little demonstration. He told her that if you grit your teeth you can actually take off.
She gives it a try and here's Ziva and Gus making a low level pass over the beach.
To cool down, Luke invites everyone into the water. Gus isn't too sure.
Gus will do some wading but he's not going all the way in!
I can wait out here forever, Ziva.
It's freezing! I've got to run to warm up.
Maggie finds the perfect rock at last.
We all had a great time. Daddy's truck smells like wet dog again.
Party indeed! You really got some great action shots of these dogs. I love the race pictures! Makes me want to move to Maine!
Already at the beach in March - I think I'm jealous! Especially being landlocked in TN. Cape Cod is the furthest northern beach I've been to, and I know I wouldn't dare enter the water this time of year!
But those goldens obviously love it! Great story and terrific pictures!
You forgot to invite me!
I'm out in Calif., and we have lots of beach time. My Rotty, Drogo, loves the beach, but probably not as much as those retrievers.
Great, great shots! And looks like a fun party!
Looks like spring's on the way up in Maine! LOTS of FUN!!
Those dogs sure look like they're having a good time. Room to run and swim. My lab would love it.
